$15 FWDBA membership fee & operational costs

$20 USADB membership fee include operational cost, youth program, international program, etc.

These dues must be paid to FWDBA before February 1st. Check or money order to be paid in the amount of $35 to the FWDBA secretary.

Welcome to the Farwest Deaf Basketball Association.

To all Players in the Farwest region,

Allow me to introduce myself, I am the current President of the Farwest Deaf Basketball Association (FWDBA), Tim Leary.

We are the newest appointed region that is affiliated with USADB. We were voted in by the members of USADB last April in Indianapolis, Indiana. We are very excited and on the road to a better basketball organization.

There has been so much confusion from many players not knowing who, where or what to do. Allow me to make this as easy as possible:

What happened in the past is beyond our control. We don't have any say or power in what happened in the last two years within the former region. Therefore, it is history. Today is the first day of a NEW ERA OF FWDBA.

WE ARE NOT STOPPING ANY PLAYERS OR TEAMS WHO WANT TO PLAY FOR FWDBA. ALL WE ASK IS FOR ALL TO ABIDE BY OUR BYLAWS. You can read the bylaws here in our web site. We as FWDBA have so much to offer and we as a whole can make this work without so much fiasco. It's about you, the players who love the game of Basketball and who just want to PLAY without distraction.

Please continue to look at our web site from time to time as we will try to keep information(s) updated and current. Any questions or concerns about our FWDBA, please email us and we will answer you as soon as we can.

So, for all you players and teams, this organization belongs to you!!

To foster and improve athletes throughout its territory in accordance with the standards.
To protect and promote the mutual interests of its member organizations.
To institute, regulate, and award the athletic championship of this Association.
To send the best team to represent this Association in the United States of America Deaf Basketball (USADB) National Tournament.
